Refinery Gas Analyser

The Thermo 1300GC with auxiliary oven is the most transparent Refinery Gas Analyser. An optional 4th detector can be configured on the same instrument, for instance for ppb sulfur analysis.

Permanent Gas Analyser

The G·A·S Permanent Gas Analyser is configured for the analysis of H2, N2, O2, CH4, CO, CO2, and C2 hydrocarbons. Optional channels are available for He-H2 and Ar-O2 determination. Other light gases are analysed as well; please contact us for further information. The analyser is available on 3 GC platforms. In this way, G·A·S offers the solution for every specific need.

This G·A·S analyser offers easy analysis of all kinds of gaseous hydrocarbon samples! The Focus GC is the cost-effective one-channel solution, while the Trace GC Ultra platform allows comprehensive multi channel applications. LPG Residue Analyser

The LGI (Liquefied Gas Injector) injects gases in liquid phase under high pressure directly on the analysis column using LVI (Large Volume Injection technique) based on PTV with on-column liner. In this way, heavy fractions like oily residues or DIPA are analysed very accurate without boiling point discrimination. This automated method provides results down to 1 ppm concentration level, in less than 30 minutes.

LPG Analyser

Are you having problems with the injection of LPG samples? G·A·S presents the most reliable method for analysing these liquid streams by controlling the pressure in the sample path. This LPG analyser delivers unquestionably quantitative results in this way.

High Purity Gas Analyser

The success of ppb analysis with sensitive detectors like PDD (Pulsed Discharge Detector) or PED (Plasma Emission Detector) strongly depends on the handling of the detector in the GC analyser. G·A·S has over 20 years of experience in applying the right parts and switching diagrams for this type of analysis. The result is an easy to handle and robust analyser for very low concentration levels.

Detailed Hydrocarbon Analyser

G·A·S offers DHA and DHAX (extended DHA) analysis in only 71 minutes! The user-friendly software delivers very transparent calculation of the required composition and physical property data. Several options from the Thermo Trace Ultra GC are available, like cyro cooling (DHAX) and automated liquid injection.

PIONA Analyser

The Si-PIONA GC-MS analyser offers complete analysis of Paraffins, Iso-paraffins, Olefins Naphthenes and Aromatics in gasoline-range materials. The instrument can screen large numbers of gasoline samples like spark ignition fuels, providing fast, precise hydrocarbon characterisation for each carbon number up to C12. The GC-MS method offers a number of advantages over the common used multidimensional method.

For example the BEST PTV injector offers fully quantitative analysis up to C130. Another striking feature is the iConnect injector-detector module concept, which allows exchange of injectors and detectors in a couple of minutes! And our software covers all international standard methods.

Oxygenates Analysers

G·A·S offers 3 dedicated analysers for oxygenated compounds at %-concentration levels in liquid samples like gasoline. Two instruments are based on multidimensional methods according to ASTM D4815 and EN 13132. The uniqueO-FID analyser (ASTM D5599 / EN 1601) is based on selective detection, using only a single separation column. This instrument is lately refurbished by G.A.S, resulting in improved stability and robustness.

Analyser for FAME Aviation Fuel

Biofuels are excluded from aviation and marine fuels by specification. But they may appear by two routes: (1) sharing fuelling facilities (using multiproduct pipelines), or (2) as a blending component. We have developed a method following IP 585/10, based on GC/MS.

Low level Oxygenates Analyser

Ethylene Glycol in used engine oil

This G·A·S analyser offers high throughput analysis as an alternative to the labor intensive ASTM D4291-98 method. Ethylene Glycol is made more volatile and less polar by adding an derivatisation reagent to the oil in an autosampler vial. After incubation, a headspace volume is injected by the Triplus headspace autosampler. The Focus GC is the cost-effective one-channel solution for this analysis.

Fuel Diluents in lubricating oil

Determination of Fuel Diluents in lubrication oil according to ASTM D3524 and D3525 is a time consuming procedure. This G·A·S analyser offers high throughput analysis using an alternative method. Neat oil is injected onto the capillary column, the fraction that elutes below n-C20 is defined as fuel. The heavy hydrocarbon fraction is back flushed to the injector using a Deans column switching option. The Focus GC equipped with AS3000 autosampler is the cost-effective one-channel solution for this analysis.
