Reliable, rigid and cost-effective

Proven GC technology is the core of the CompactGC. With the use of diaphragm valves, solid detectors, standard available columns and highly reliable digital gases, a very rigid GC platform is obtained. There is no need to replace a complete analysis channel in case of unexpected pollution. Only the necessary parts like tubing or rotor seals will need a closer examination. The operational costs are kept very low in this way. Due to the high quality parts and state-of-the-art electronics, the analytical results are extremely accurate.

Using direct gas-injection (valve with sample loop), ppb to % concentration levels can be analysed. The system is highly inert due to the (optional) use of Sulfinert ® and Silcosteel® surface inactivation. This is particular important when polar components are analysed, f.i. in case of sulphur determination at low ppb level, using PDD or PFPD detection.
With the optional Thermal Desorption Module, the detection limit even goes down to low ppt levels. This module uses a Peltier cooled micro trap that contains a suitable adsorbent (also multi-bed adsorbents are possible).
